Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful. This both must be said every time and also can't be said enough.
This poem feels a lot like a companion to encrefloue's this week; I feel like both of you are exploring similar ideas, with your poem being a bit more uplifting at the end. While his leaves a sense of something unfinished, just a recognition that something isn't quite right, but not being sure what to do with it, yours really embodies the idea of letting go of these things that hold you down, the thoughts in your head that seem to have come from nowhere but always, always have an origin.
And maybe, like here, it's not really necessary to find that origin. But to let go of these things really gives that wonderful feeling of freeness and balance. The catalyst in this case being bells or chimes really feels exactly right... we can never know what small things will launch us back into the past and into ourselves, but when you come across them, the pull is almost impossible to ignore.
Such a fantastically voiced final stanza! It pulls everything together and closes with an opening, which is the best type of closing for this sort of introspective and symbolic exploration!

You are a thoughtful reader. I appreciate you taking the time to give feedback so I can lean on what worked and what a reader is taking away.
I am often mystified by those small moments that cause major shifts in us.
