Does it crash and restart your session, or crash, dump the 'oops', then reboot?

It doesn't automatically reboot. The whole system requires a reset, not just X.

I have a note that is only tangentially related. It bubbles up in my brain because of what I have been doing this weekend and I'm reminded of it when I read this post. I am amazed that you guys built the company that you did. There are so many infrastructure decisions to make and implement, so many externalities to cope with before you can get after solving your primary problem.

Are you using SSD drives and disk encryption, perchance? I hit a show-stopping bug this weekend and am not only relying on one level of encryption. Makes me nervous.
