So...I would like to uncover one of my last commercial projects - working with Israeli "Sabotage Dance Show" for their new performance. It's already third year we work together and I should tell You - it's going better all the way...
This time it was planned to cover all the new dances and to shoot additional photos for the old ones since they did a couple of changes - mostly about new dances and costumes. We worked for two days, about 5 hours each one - actually I wanted to work on this project much longer but they was extremely busy that time. The hardest thing with this sort of shooting is to build a Live lighting scheme - my G-d! It takes a lot of time - mostly because You should start from zero, remember - it was new show so there was no directed lighting yet. To go further with troubles - their manager changed location on the evening before the shooting day - so I couldn't even know how to prepare myself...so, on the morning, I loaded my car with all-possible-stuff...and I want to tell You - You should have someone really calm by your side on such a day - just to bring all the stuff back home without breaking it...So I was lucky - and I want to thank dear romanbala for his great assistance. To stay on the positive side...It was real pleasure and comfort to work with Michael - the light engineer. His highly professional skills and motivation helped me to build such a good lighting and ambiance, because the location was really problematic - nice and comfy restaurant hall with almost no place to shoot...but finally - I really like the things we done..
