Yesterday was, to put it mildly, a hideous day, with approximately two good things in it: one, Castle got renewed, as if ABC knew I needed something, and second, it was the official launch of Shine

I actually found Shine on the shelves at the Borders in downtown Boston on Monday afternoon. It made me happy, as I am always happy to see new releases by friends. Pity about Nick Mamatas getting the title of your story wrong. His version does sound like a pretty sad title. I enjoyed the story, and found the real title just fine.

Eh. Apparently he wrote the review in airports and on planes, so I'm willing to cut him more slack here. And I have to agree with his general point that titles are not my thing and I really need to work on writing better ones. (I reserve the right to disagree with him or get mad when he's wrong, though :) )

But, yay! Borders in Boston!!!! This cheers me up :)
