Hein??

I am very surprised this is not all over the internet.
It seems that humans have already been cloned. Or more precisely, human cloned embryos have been implanted into 4 women and scientists are waiting for the result. In a middle east country, where cloning is permited. OF COURSE. Noone can oppose progress.

*raises eyebrow* what middle-eastern country permitted cloning? I thought my area is totally against this! Oh wait, you mean there are no LAWS yet...OMG, where?

Firstly I guess I did a good thing I did not choose to study genetics. I wanted to be the first to clone humans. >_< They would have gotten me! Bah! But I'm anxiously waiting for the results!

Ok about religion...people are free to voice their opinions but I wouldn't support insulting someone's religion. Not believing is one thing but insulting? I think it is too much. Unlike scientific theories religion is something many people grow up with. It's defining them as individuals. Think how Greeks define themselves as a nation based on their history & religion. Ok, I'm not religious enough but I understand under what circumstances the United Nations voted this...
(Also how come I answered in a serious post? Go me! XD)

Naturally it is wrong to insult people. But the problem with religious people is that EVERYTHING can be a potential insult.

This whole cloning thing has always freaked me out a little bit. I don't know whether it's in itself a good thing or a bad thing to be happening.

And about the religion thing, I see it a lot in recent years, more so than before. I think it's because people are realising the younger generations aren't holding on to religion anymore? Or something like that. They try to make it a bigger issue than it is so that it attracts attention. Low and cheap trick. :/
