Greek pop culture pt2

Because sometimes I watch the Greek X-Factor, out of curiosity, and because they generally have good voices, I would like to share this enlightening experience. Basically, they created this boyband called Juke Box, promoted as a bunch of guys who work well together and have all good voices. They are not just the typical boyband where there are two ( Read more... )

oh-my-god.
that poor, poor song! awful! I don't know, maybe it's because it's a remake of the song (people should NEVER make remakes of good, successful songs! call me a purist, but I bloody hate them! if a song works in the original version, don't change it!), but it sounds horrible to me!
and harmony? what harmony? I don't think they even complement each other, let alone have any harmony. granted, successful groups are hard to form, but these guys...
no. just... no.

OMG!!!You make me watch something like this and then I remember why I stopped turning the tv on in the first place.
What can can I possibly say?No really tell me!!This video should have as a second title how to destroy a great song!
You know what I would really like you to know though?(please tell me if you know)
What was the opinion of the judges?
Now that would be interesting and would tell us a lot about the future of Greek music

Uhmm... the judges liked this. They liked better their RnB performance today, but they didn't have any problem with this. I really don't know what the judges want. They supposedely want to do something new, but I can't see it. There are a few guys in the show who can sing rock songs beautifully, but I am almost certain they will turn folk if they do something afterwards.

I have no idea how they presented something like myself. Sometimes the things the judges find important or not seem reallt random...

eek.
The original with Sting & the Police is great, and Puff Daddy's remake was great.
This was awful. And not funny bad like some JE songs can be (like Jin singing Moon River XD, ahem.)

*sigh* You see, the judges are generally strickt, but rather lenient with this. Because it's a boyband. Whatever.
Funny-bad in Moon River you mean Jin's pronounciation? XD

Oh, I am sorry it made no sense. It's actually my own interpretation, because I don't believe they actually expected much from them...

X-Factor is a show where 4 judges have auditioned some hundrends of people, chosen the best ones and now they are having a live show where the public can vote for the favorite ones (1,19 euros per vote)
Unfortunately, yes, those guys count as a boyband... :D I hope they don't win. There are much better singers and groups in the show.
