2.16’s missing scenes: Cut 00009
We missed a lot scenes that should have been somewhere in one of the episodes.... but in 2.16 so many pieces were missing that I decided to write them after all.

Scotty looks at Sarah with a smile on his face.
“Thank you.” He says.
“For what?” she asks.
“You invited me to that pool-party.” He reminds her and she grins at the memory.
“Sarah, you made a good choice.” Kitty compliments her sister. There is a little knock on the door and Julia peeks into the room.
“Nora wants to know if you are ready, Scotty.” She comes in even further. “And, you two, you need to report downstairs where General Nora is waiting….” She smiles. Sarah and Kitty give each other a knowing look.
“We will see you in a bit?” Sarah asks and Scotty nods. Sarah and Kitty leave the room, and Julia plans the same, but at the door she hesitates. She turns back to Scotty.
“I’m sorry.” She says in her gentle voice.
“For what?” Scotty asks, wondering what Julia could have done, that she felt the need to apologize.
“For what happened at the ranch in Ojai… If Tommy wouldn’t have asked Kevin to be a sperm-donor, you and he would not have argued…” Scotty needs to think about that for a few seconds and Julia continues, slightly more nervous:
“I am so grateful for what Justin and Kevin did, without them I would not have had my beautiful daughter, but I’ve always felt very guilty that it came at such a high expense for Kevin…. He was so hurt when you left and I am sorry that you two were unable to repair the damage later… I’ve always felt awful that you two got in trouble because of the problems Tommy and I had. And I cannot begin to tell you how happy I am that you have found your way back to each other.
Scotty sees the tension in Julia and he cannot help but reply:
“Julia, if we wouldn’t have fought over that, it would have been something else. We just were not ready for each other. I should have asked myself why Kevin was so against it at first, why he didn’t want to help his own brother, I knew how close-knit this family was, yet I considered Kevin’s refusal as selfish, without taking into account that Kevin would never hurt Tommy unless he felt it had to be done. I was rather quick to judge and, in all honesty, I didn’t know Kevin well enough to be so judgmental.”
Julia relaxes when she hears Scotty’s words.
“I hope you two will make it this time. I really do.”
“I think we have a better chance this time ‘round. Kevin and I have had a chance to be friends, before we became lovers again, so this time I had a chance to get to know Kevin better before starting something with him again.”
“Yes, that will make a huge difference, I suppose.” Julia smiles. “Anyhow, I just wanted to apologize to you.”
“There is really no need.”
“Thank you.” She says and she walks up to him. “Welcome to the club of ‘idiots who marry a Walker’, if ever you need a shoulder to cry on… call me.” She laughs.
“I will.” Scotty promises.
“Again, I’m glad all’s forgiven and I hope that, later tonight, Tommy and I will have made up for some of your pain…” she replies with a mysterious smile as she turns around and leaves Scotty alone, puzzled.
