I guess that's not actually surprising. I'm not sure what his current look is, but I'll definitely look and see. (Probable answer regardless, "I don't know, I'll think about it.")

I wonder how much of the straightness in top front is weight of hair, and how much is more relaxed curls there. Old shorter-hair photos might help you there... Just trying to get a sense of what cutting it would leave behind (less weight generally = tighter curls type thoughts).
