So I've had killer writer's block, to the point where I even flaked on my spook_me fic. *The shame!* But I did manage to coax this out... Hope it fits the atmosphere. *And hey, it's JUST in under the wire

Daaaamn... That was lovely and very touching; it really was. It's so easy to forget sometimes that the real horror in a murder case isn't that the criminal committed a crime, it's that the victim is dead.
