Sabriel! I loved that book. Had a hard time getting into the next one for some reason, but I have them lying around someplace. So good.

No, I know what you mean. Lirael is very different, but as a two-parter with The Abhorsen, it's just as good. I had you in mind when I mentioned the books; I figured you'd like them.
