and yeah, there's videos out there. You can probably find links of them over at patd amongst the other video posts, and I can't remember what city it happened in, sorry :( but the videos are there, and I haven't seen them but people are talking about them.

He said it, but it was mostly because he was getting shit from dudebro Blink fans, and he immediately retracted it with a laughing, "No no, I'm kidding." He's said this kind of stuff before, and he clearly doesn't mean it (although I think it's adorable that in the face of hostile crowds he decides to get MORE gay).

This is pretty much exactly what I figured. Brendon joking around about fucking dudes is nothing new, but it's nice to see him go back to that after the stage gay dry spell after Pretty Odd.

Still, I'd love to see what he would say if an interviewer were to question him about it now (post-split). Would his answers change at all? I'm curious.

Eh, that's what I was told by my friends there. He definitely laughs afterwards in the video.

I'm really uncomfortable with people assuming he "really meant it," or "really came out this time," since he's said repeatedly in interviews that he's straight (his behavior and everything else notwithstanding). I get the impression he likes to mess around on stage, but he doesn't mean it as a deep statement of intent. I'm happy to be wrong, though, if he wants to go talk to Out.com or something. :)
