Winter was never too busy for the Roadhouse, the hunters who were out didn't make side trips when there was snow involved. The Roadhouse did get more traffic in its new location, though it was still a slow enough day that Jo finally turned her attention to an old sketchbook she found tucked away behind several old whiskey bottles.

When the bell above the door sounded, she lifted her head and quickly closed the sketchbook. The robot was familiar, but that didn't mean she wanted to answer questions about the sketches.

"Hey. What's up?"

Rabbit was somewhat pleased to see the usually busy place wasn't quite as hopping with customers this particular snowy afternoon in Mandalus, giving the copper man a bit more space to think privately to himself and chat up the friendly gal behind the counter. Distraction get!

A few jerky steps forward and Rabbit was brushing the fallen snow from his shoulders, reaching up to sweep the old-timey style hat from his head to give it a shake.

"Just thought I'd step on in for a d-drink. Afternoon off an' all."

"I didn't know rock stars got days off." Jo forced a laugh, finally sliding off the bar stool she was perched upon. While she had been looking forward to the possibility of closing up early so she could curl up under a pile of blankets and watch a movie, she knew it would be better for her to stay open and out of her own head.

She waited until the robot had dusted most of the snow from his body before speaking.

"It's snowing again? I hope people have stopped makin' snowmen by now." Fighting she didn't mind, and running she could handle too, but running in snow was tricky and she had gotten tired of it already.

"Only when we actually deserve it. W-w-which isn't often. So I guess I better use it wisely, huh?" The hat plopped back atop his bare head before the robot's hunched posture straightened in front of the woman, watching as she moved to stand a little closer to him, steam hissing from his cheek vents as his boiler worked to heat himself back up again.

"Not a fan o' th' snowmen? Is it th' carrot noses? Never been'a fan o' those either."
