[ All someone needs to do to find Henry is follow the Christmas lights. He's working hard at his part in the annual Sanctuary decorations: fix rogue light bulbs that still have the nerve to go and burn out on his watch, and set up some sweet programming. Lights that blink and do crazy awesome performances to various songs oh hell yes. He's got a laptop hooked up to the box he rigged up to control the lights. Work work work. ]
If all light shows were the tamest of tame people wouldn't talk about them later, tell their friends. [ Pause .... ] I got your list of music for this year. [ even printed the message and has it taped to the control box for reference as he works. Ignore the hand-written "gangnam style" and a few other songs down at the bottom. Juuust ignore it. (Wishful thinking here) ]
[ Helen sighs and rolls her eyes. Of course. It is Henry's tradition, so she's hardly going to stop him. Just, please, Henry. Neon lights are far too 1970s. ]
[Ezio had considered calling ahead but that wasn't fun. Instead, he climbs in a side window and strides down the halls, hood up, scarf up around his neck, and a smile on his face the moment he sees Helen. He waits until the young abnormal nearby has finished talking with her before he approaches, a hand sliding over her lower back as he leans in to kiss her without a moment to greet her verbally.
[ The young abnormal eyes Ezio with a wariness, his eyes much more like a cat than a human, before running down the hall. Helen glances up at the older assassin, giving him a playful smirk and returns the kiss. ]
Hello, darling. [ Then she eyes him. ] I don't suppose you bothered to close the window on your way in?
Of course I did. It is snowing outside. [He smirks a little and threads his fingers with hers, looking around the room.] I didn't experience much of Christmas in Aliunde-- is this how it is done in your time?
If you and your brothers refuse to use the door, I'll just have to make sure you're trained in closing the doors. [ Oh yeah, your spiritual ancestor likes the windows too. ] Decorations, lights outside the houses. I'm certain you saw the display Henry set up.
[Peter doesn't say anything yet. He doesn't feel like saying anything, at first. Instead, he simply crawls across the ceiling as she decorates, watching for a while and smiling to himself. Christmas is great and even without Aunt May and Uncle Ben, he's sure it'll be awesome with Helen, even if he hates the idea that Aunt May will be alone for their first Christmas without Uncle Ben.
He shuffles across the ceiling a little more, then pauses above her.] Need a hand?
[He flinches and tenses up, and if anyone knows spiders he's doing exactly what a spider does when it thinks it's been spotted; curling up on himself and playing dead, but he can't pretend he's not right there and she's looking right at him.]
I was just... getting about. I can hang stuff up higher if you need me to?
[ It takes a moment for her to pick up on his body language, but all she does is roll her eyes. Peter, darling, your spider is showing. ]
Getting about on the ceiling? You do realize how dangerous that is. [ Especially if they find that flying abnormal-- ] Generally Henry is in charge of putting the lights up in the chandelier... [ Oh, the last time someone crawled on the ceiling to do that, Will was badly injured. ]
[Sam is walking through the streets, lost in thought as he happens to walk past the Sanctuary. Of course, he doesn't know that's what it is, but he sees the Christmas lights outside and someone standing on the sidewalk admiring them. He recognizes the face from his device and smiles.]
