[As the feed flicks on, a hooded figure appears, one that those here on the Day of Arrival would recognise. No matter how you try to turn off your phone, it will not work, it insists upon showing you this. His head is bowed and he murmurs to himself for what seems like far too long. He snaps his head up, eyes fixed on the screen, and a half smirk ( Read more... )

[ Entity smirks. ] You'll come to find that Praenuntius is very ridiculous, Professor Snape.

While we have this conversation window open. Tell me. Are you enjoying your new home?

Ridiculous and apparently prone to slipping into a far more old fashioned speech. [ Yep. Ridiculous.

Oh. Well then. Bringing this up. Hmpf. ] Immensely. [ really, so full of sarcasm ] Even with the addition of a quite unexpected house guest.

Have we come to the part now where you inform me of what demeaning tasks I must do to keep my own home? Or shall that be detailed in another video I am forced to watch?

I don't recall saying his speech patterns were up to date. [ The smirk widens at that. ]

I thought you may like a few reminders of the places you've been .Given how well you've come to avoid the end of the road. A kitten and a home. What more could you ever ask for?

You're only required to save this world. Beyond that? I don't care what you do.

There was no need to say so when I have firsthand knowledge of it. [ oh what would happen if they got into a smirk off ]

I can take no credit for that as you are already well aware. Yet I still am worthy of tokens. One could easily answer that question with 'guaranteed protection' or something similar. [ But not necessarily for himself. ]

That could take quite some time to accomplish.

[ Entity would go for the low blows. ]

Just because a child who is destined to save the world doesn't recognize your sacrifice doesn't mean we don't. [ Entity merely shrugs. ] It was one of the factors in why I brought you here.

Then it looks like you need some hobbies.

[ ... that is a low blow. :| ]

Lack of recognition for my sacrifice is why I am here? [ Really. ]

And that would be so much simpler if I had my full abilities back.

Not entirely. It does play a part in it if you'd like. [ Oho ho. ]

You'll have them back soon enough. We need to make sure that you won't do anything... regrettable when you first arrive.

Now that you have me shackled here I have a say? [ No love for the bracelet man. Doesn't this thing come in black? ]

How soon?

Only a bit of one. It's better than none. [ Smirk smirk. ]

You'll notice when they're back. A few days time.

So you would say, being the one holding the keys to it. [ Hmpf. ]

"A few days" ... vague once again.
