loves me a good trip to the hot springs. spent all afternoon yesterday on a hot springs mission. both driving and spending time in the hot water. took about 3 hours of driving time (both ways) and spent a good 2.5 hours either in the rock pond or the outdoor hot tub. went with the neighbour up the street. i brought home made pizza and my day pass. new dog in the house. his name is boris. well it will be when he starts to respond to it. until then it's bandit-boris. he doesn't smile like monty. but he seems just as needy. if not needier. we shall see. i will always love monty. and i'm sure i'll learn to love this one. but it still seems to soon since monty passed.

i have come to the conclusion that 2009 will not, in fact, be a year of pitty me and shite. it will be a year of learning and (re)discovery of one self...and not killing people you really want to kill.
