Yesterday I removed the "partial airway obstruction" from my wee daughter's throat. I have never heard a cough/wheeze like that in my life. I should amend that and say I am sure I probably have heard a cough like that but it never made the world stop for me like it did at the library yesterday, when we went from nursing happily to banging on baby ( Read more... )

Thank you! I know, it freaked me out. Liam was in Edmonton on business and he totally freaked out that he wasn't here, not that he could have done anything. But all is well. I hope you are feeling better too! Those first 6 weeks are treacherous.

Wow. Thats crazy scary/intense. Im really glad abi is ok and she vomitted and everything. I remember when you told me about that night with the athletic socks...: we were doing rounds by the lake at camp and you were locking up the Waterfront building and i remember the stillness and the night and how impressed i was that you were able to keep your cool an dsave his life.

I am glad that you and Abbey are okay. That must have been pretty scary. I am certified in lifeguarding, cpr, and aed but I am so afraid that if I was ever in a situation where I needed to use those lifesaving skills I would just freak out. I am glad you were able to keep your cool and help her.
