We are living in the age of consumerism. And with our obsession as a society to have the newest/smallest/biggest/shiniest/blingest goods on the block comes S-N-O-B-B-E-R-Y. In my opinion, the only one who could pull it off was Veronica Lodge. Sadly, her wink of comic irony lacks in human form

i freaking love my shuffle!! i got it as a gift from my job when i left there in march. i agree, i rarely get bored, it plays plenty of songs.

I never bought into the whole iPod fad - I use minidisc.

I friended you because I like you on ONTD. But, I hope you don't think I'm a snob because I buy designer purses I don't need. I'm still down to earth.

I used a minidisc up until last winter...it became too cumbersome when walking my dog (especially if I wore clothing with small or no pockets). The iPod Shuffle has a rope that I put around my neck and I'm off! Easy-peasy.

I also like you on ONTD and friended you back...you're one of the few who's comments I always read. : )

P.S. - checked out your LJ and LOVE your purse! It's a work of art. No, I don't think you're a snob...I don't think you would mock people who buy purses from *gasp* the mall! lol My feelings are that if you like something, then buy it; but buying the latest thing or most expensive label to be "cool" is wrong.

P.P.S.S. (or whatever it is) - I'm a dog lover and your icon makes me misty-eyed. :(

It's good to meet another person familiar with minidisc. I am also thinking of making the switch, because they keep breaking on me!

Absolutely...I'll add you back. : ) I have a ton more posts in my "friends-only" journal...had some weirdo net stalkers in the past so had to lock it.
