Spider!

Oh, man, words cannot describe how sad I am that the nearest glass on hand was rippled. Alas.

This fella jumped on my bed, presumably falling from somewhere in the curtains, and was obliging while I took many photos. Does anyone know what sort of spider it is?

Oh man, that's a spider. I would have screamed so loudly if that dropped on me, that the people in the next suburb over would have looked up and said "did you hear something?".

Had it dropped on me, it would have been a totally different story, with much freaking out! As it was, it appeared about two feet away on the other side of the mattress, and my main thought was: "I'm so catching you before I go to bed!" *grins*

OH, I would have DEFINITELY then had the same thought. But there probably would have been a tiny squeal, as what I saw dropped, and my brain realising what it was.

There wouldn't have been the grand almighty banshee shriek that would have happened, if it was akire_yta *weg* *teases aki*

I can't tell very well, but he looks like he might be a common wolf spider. Which are harmless, but damn scary looking.

Hee! *hits up google* quite possibly a wolf spider -- it could certainly *jump* enough to give me a minor heart attack while I was going after it with the glass!

Too horrible to even look at.

As long as it's behind glass, I'm fine. Catching it had one or two hair-raising moments, though!

S/he did indeed -- when Flickr gets back from its massage, you should be able to click through the photo to the others (mostly hopelessly rippled, but the colouring is there).
