I'm halfway through the book now and I just got up to the spoiler you mentioned. What can I say except, CALLED IT!!! I was guessing that that might happen a few chapters back and then there it is. Yeah, the Twilight hate is a bit much. I think it's made worse because the books are getting hyped up to be a lot better than they are, so when someone picks up a copy to find that their not some literature master piece, they get a little pissy.

Gah! I just realised Duck is a duck, but Princess Tutu is a swan. Duckling -> Swan. It took me too long to think of that.
