[ The feed clicks on as the commuter is whacked by the corner of a leather satchel, boyish hips strolling back and forth as he sorts through the books in his trunk to slide into the bag. Slim and tall, the flash of a silver-and-green tie can be glimpsed around a naval as he goes about his business. ]

[ After spending most of the morning simply trying to find his way around the place while looking for Lelouch and making a mental map in the event he needs to find where he's going in a hurry, he's returning to the dorm where he'd first awoken, just in time to watch the summoned book zoom by. His hands remain at his sides, each with fingers gripped around his cellphone and his wand. But the grip tightens in reflex and he flinches a bit.

Hello, new roommate. You are not his brother. You are an Eleven. And he's not exactly pleased by any of this arrangement. However, none of his displeasure shows outwardly. Instead, he looks uncomfortable in the robes they've been given, shy and nervous, with gaze flickering from between the other boy, his wand, and the book that had flown by. ]

[ Attention diverting, he switches off the device and lays it on the bed, offering a friendly, somewhat chagrined smile as he gestures to rumpled sheets across the room. ]

Hello. You must be the person who left before I woke up - nice to meet you, I'm Light. [ And that Eleven would be noticing some of that nervousness now, it's kind of difficult to miss. ] Sorry, I've been messing around with a few of the basic spells. Would you prefer that I didn't, while I'm around you?

[ "Light"? What a strange name for an Eleven. His gaze follows the other boy's gesture before giving a slight nod, but that soon shifts to a slow shaking of his head in response to Light's question. ]

It's fine.

[ A pause as he realizes he should probably introduce himself. Years of training tells him he should give a false name to the stranger, especially since he doesn't know if the boy might become an enemy. But after a moment's consideration, thanks in part to the realization that he doesn't know how long he'll be in the strange castle and may have to resort to living there until he finds a way back to Lelouch, he decides to at least give half and answer. ]

Rolo.

[ Odd sort of name. The boy looks nothing short of terrified, so it's going to be a good idea to lay down the boundaries of what Light's actually doing - he doesn't want to start a pre-pubescent stampede of weedy young men. ]

Right, well. I'm just finding some books to take out with me, Rolo. [ And so he continues, flipping through Waffling's volume. ] Don't mind me.

[ There's a certain stuck-up, tense kitty in the room, one that Light's been avoiding direct conversation with until His Highness deigns to address him, and it's only when he does that Light responds with a readily amiable nod. Not that he isn't furious about losing the notebooks (and his damned watch with the scrap of paper in it, too) but he's got a magic wand and instructions.

It's payday for Kira. ]

I'm curious. [ A shrug. ] A couple of these spells come naturally, although that one took a bit of practice. Aren't you going to leave the dormitory and common-room to have a look around?

[ What a sensitive soul the other boy is, it's almost touching that shyness is being veiled with apathy. Sitting on his bed, he leans on an elbow and presents him with his full attention. ]

I was finding the book I wanted. If I'm going to explore, I'd rather have something on hand to read if I get bored.

[ And he wants to see if this school owns a library, so he can compare his own textbooks to those of a level similar to what someone his age ought to be learning in Hogwarts. ]

I can stop, if it bothers you.

That's a good spell... So, what, we're supposed to use the sticks they gave us?

If you look in the books inside your trunk, they're instruction manuals for how to create spells. It's all in there, most of it seems basic and easy to pick up if you concentrate.

Heh, I looked through a few. [Meaning he flipped through the pages and decided it was too much work right now] I've got some magic of my own, just never used a stick for it before.

Can you show me some of that magic? I didn't own any before and what I do have now seems confined to this - wand.

That's what these do? [Roxas is holding up his own wand, the colors of the Gryffindor common room clear behind him]

[ Well, well - heck out those emblematic colours. Hi, little lion, snake-pit calling. ]

Point it at something and say 'Accio', see for yourself.

[Oh there will be plenty of wars to come once Roxas figures out he's supposed to dislike them. But, well, this guy seems nice enough] ...okay.... [Looking over to the side, Roxas points his wand at something off the screen, and with a sharp 'Accio!' like Light said, a small blue gem comes flying toward him. Roxas catches it on reflex, his eyes wide] ...it's like Graviga. Where'd you figure out how to do that?

It's written down in the books left inside that trunk by your bed, assuming your room's anything like mine.

[ Yeah, Roxas, he's your buddy! No worries. ]

What's Graviga?

[There is a shocked expression over Kallen's face, blue eyes opening wide at what she just saw.]

What the hell did I just...?!

[Once she gets over the shock, however, she gives the Slytherin boy a skeptical look.]

I could ask how you did all that, but...

But it's inside the books you also have with you?

[ Or is he giving you too much credit there, miss? ]

Oh, those spell books. I haven't actually looked through them yet.

[She twirls her wand around between her fingers with slight muttering.]

I'm still getting over the fact that this isn't my home.
