A nice long chapter for the Christmas weekend. This will be my last update until after Christmas, then there will be frequent updates again
( Read more... )
His face was still all hooked nose and dark brows and bottomless black eyes, with a few more wrinkles here and there. His hair was as black as ever, and if Snape spent any time near a boiling cauldron, just as greasy as before.
Yes, yes! I'm so glad you have Snape still looking like that. :) And his reaction at the Marauder's Map was probably my favourite part of the chapter. XD
I'm liking Croaker less and less - as I'm sure is your intention. And I haven't said, but there's something quite creepy about Voldemort, and very appropriately so, though he hasn't done anything really creepy (yet!). But creepy in a too damn sexy way. ;)
Aw, Betsy. *is suddenly sad about Hedwig* And ooh, a pet snake! Though I doubt Voldemort wants it merely as a pet. ;)
This was a very nicely long chapter, Maeglin. :) Happy holidays!
This fic is brilliant. I've just read through the previous story and now caught up on this one, and I'm in awe. I'm really enjoying the contrast of the affection here warring with the massive lack of trust in Voldemort. I also really want to know what this headmaster is up to!
I read both The Semblance of Peace and The Price of Peace at one go and now I can't hardly wait for next chapters. While I don't like Harry/Voldemort pairing, I love the snarry all above. And now with this story you made me like the idea of Harry and Voldemort and Severus together. Your characters are very IC and yet somehow still Voldemort is likeable. I love the jealous Severus, the sometimes still naive Harry and grouchy Tom. That Croaker is a very interesting figure. Was he really in one of HP books? I must see after. Once :D Thanks for this fic I really enjoy reading it.
Thanks so much for your comment! And Croaker is mentioned in name only in GoF, so in canon we know nothing about him except that he was an Unspeakable at the time of the Quidditch World Cup. I'm so glad to hear you're enjoying the story!
I just spent the last two days reading your first story and now I'm all caught up. I absolutely love it! I'm going through your recs, too. Anyone that writes this well has got to have a good opinion on recs! XD I'm looking forward to seeing your updates. I don't usually read WIPs because I'm always afraid they'll never get finished. Keep it up!
Thanks so much for your comment! I don't usually write WIPs, either, but I've been away from fandom for a while, and when I came back and got the idea for this sequel, I couldn't just sit on it for as long as it takes me to write it. Glad to hear you gave the story a chance and that you're enjoying it!
