One of many issues with season 2 of The Wire

It is most irritating when the sex-related nudity in a well-regarded, critically acclaimed, character-driven TV show is pointedly and noticeably female-only.  Isn't this one of those sticky issues directors really need to be aware of?  Isn't this practice a really, really fast way to undermine the gender philosophy of the show?  What in the world

There's more male nudity in the later seasons, I believe.

well, there's male nudity this season as well, it just never happens in the sex scenes.
