Yes, ladies and gentlemen. It is, indeed, a llama necklace. She somehow found me a llama pendant and I love love love it. I couldn't believe it when I opened it up!
Last night was the final installment of Lori's Birthday Debauchery. I had a really great dinner with rachet and midnightcircle. Rachel got me some pretty pendants and an eBay gift card, all of which came inside the funniest damn birthday card I've ever gotten. I'll have to scan and post it later. Nancy got me these three adorable little bird sculptures carved out of stone. Patt also got me a shirt, and Dayna got me some art supplies! Yay! Colored pencils and pastels!
AFter dinner I met Brian, Dayna and some other friends at the Bar of Modern Art. It was the perfect night for it; warm but not hot. Patt, who'd been laid low with a migraine and had to miss dinner, recovered enough to come by with Tommy, so that was nice. Brian paid for all the drinks because he is a boo (and is feeling his oats because he just got a humungous raise).
I would also be remiss if I didn't post a picture of the birthday cake that shadist baked for me.
