You mean they're actually going to show Friday Night Lights on *gasp* Friday? What a concept :P I think I didn't watch it earlier because it was on Tuesday, which sort of threw me off.

UMBRELLA? You obviously don't have an 11-year-old who listens only to Top 30 radio :))

I think _I_ may have been the last person to not hear the umbrella song, but I also thought that Rihanna was a young female singer. I just listened to a 30 second sample and it was that many seconds of what sounded like some strutting, posturing street thug you see passing for a musician on an MTV Award show these days. Does the song actually have a woman in it?

Rihanna IS a young female singer. The song features an intro by Jay-Z, who is probably the biggest rapper on the planet right now.

Ahh, ok. I'm guessing this is like the Pussycat Dolls song Don't Cha where I heard what I thought was something sexy but got a rapper instead in the sample.

Is there a version without the guy in it?
