Contemporary art... er.

Timoth's been working on a series of photos, and requested my help with sewing for one of them. There's no nudity, but it's still inappropriate fun. It's still a work in progress, and also, copyright Timoth.

NOT safe for work. )

I'll mention it to him, we may re-shoot in better conditions and we'll see what we can find.

raising the spirit of one peter westweood, I like it, but I'm kinda thinking the red cock is a littloe too obvious ... perhaps another colour or something.

I think I get the narrative, well, the narrative for me is somewhere between the anonymous / the physical [experience] but that could be my own reading. But in this context, the red cock does work, but with that in mind, it's kinda why i say too obvious.

He's talking about how desire is supposed to be becoming quantifiable... maybe I could explain when we next catch up.

Now please just excuse me while I re-bury the spirit of Westwood.

I'm curious about that!

(the red cock just makes me think of Ancient Greek comedies - small penes were considered the ideal, so the stock character of the oafish bumpkin would wear a comically large red phallus, poking out beneath his robes, to symbolise - I don't know - his apelikeness?)

Then we must all catch up! It's actually quite large, it just looks small because Tim's holding on to it.

This has jogged my memeory. A few years ago (actually quite a fwe) a Liverpool artist (whose name I can not recall) made some 'nude' suits. She persuaded a couple of models to wear them in public, basically walking around Liverpool city centre. They were not surprisingly perhaps aresetd, though on what charge it's difficult to say, given that the nudity was virtual. I guess if they had adopted that pose then they would have been arrested somewhat more quickly.

Haha! I love it! Maybe people could be persuaded to wear them around Melbourne...

Maybe - I would like to think that it would be possible to wear them in public somewhere in the world...

We will start our own city! And it will be populated only by people who approve of the wearing of stretch fabrics in public! Actually there's a place called Vault City in the game I'm playing where everyone seems to get about in blue and yellow catsuits...

Heehee, thanks, we've got something even more awful in the works.

Can't wait to see the shoot. I recall you were interested in the catsuits, did you end up doing a shoot in the one Peter's got?
