Give me a character from any fandom I know at least fairly well, and I will tell you:
A) My OTP
B) The runner up
C) The anti-ship
D) My unpopular fannish opinion on said character
E) One person he/she never fell in love with, and why

Could a tab for Jounouchi & Isis too?

A) Angstshipping. To an embarrassing (and fic-spewing) degree. I blame the DR for getting me thinking about the prospect.
B) Irateshipping. There's so much there that they never get a chance to explore, much like Malik & Ryou's similar situations.
C) Oh god uh. Malik is my fandom motorcycle, he's interesting with everyone.....Rishid, probably. Malikah in the DR is the only Marlick I have ever been able to ship with him.
D) He's an illogical selfish brat, and I will never cease attempting to make fun of his inflated sense of self-worth. He's fascinating - but that's because what he thinks he is and what he is diverge so often. I guess semi-bashing my favorite character is unpopular? :/
E) Rishid. For the reasons you gave. <3
Isis IshtarA) Thief King Bakura. A pity it's not actually possible because just think about the clash of personalities. (I guess TKB/Priestess Isis is possible, but her personality's a little different and softer than Isis's ( ... )

Agreed both about the puppyshipping and about Jounouchi as a character. That really is a personal skill he's got that the others I LOST A CARD GAME! I NO LONGER HAVE A REASON TO LIVE!.....could work on. (YnB doesn't let some losses get him down, too, but it's more a "oh well, there'll always be later~" thing.) Heck, even Malik, though he chooses to surrender that last duel and it was incredibly brave of him, still seems a little sheepish and has to say things like "YOU WIN COMPLETELY, PHARAOH....I'VE LOST EVERYTHING....". *smacks him upside the head. be like jou ( ... )

A) Oh my God it's Angstshipping. SHOCKER.
B) Puffshipping, probably, just because I've been thinking about it. Tendershipping done convincingly.
C) I don't have an anti-ship....? Maybe Deathshipping since it wouldn't actually be romantic. But that doesn't mean I wouldn't read it or find it interesting.
D) It's possible for him both to have residual trauma or shy social awkwardness and be a dorky carefree goofball of a derp at the same time. The two are not mutually exclusive - and are in fact more interesting when twinned.
E) ...he never fell in love with Rishid, because they spent most of the finals unconscious or nonexistant. XD IDEK about this last question, honestly.
Yami no Bakura
A) Geminishipping. Inn scene. God, inn scene. The slightly patronizing, slightly proud-parent attitude....yeah ( ... )

A) Argh this is hard I don't ship him uh. Onesided Refina/Dilandau, waaay back from when I decided it'd be a good idea to flesh out a character from a game I never played. It was kind of fun to work with a strong female (she's the only female melef pilot with a name in the franchise iirc, plus she's a ranking Zaibach officer) who is still so totally wrong about the guy she likes.
B) Dilandau/Millerna. Because it's never done but I want to see her go princess all over his butt and make him just go "wut....nee, onna...". XD XD
C) Allen. I needn't explain why.
D) Again, it's my beef almost every other villain I like - where a lot of fans focus on the "good" bits (and I do appreciate that Dilandau got fleshed out enough to mourn, even selfishly, the loss of his team) I'd much rather focus on dissecting each of their individual brands of crazy and what that says about them. XD
E) He never fell in love with Hitomi because at first she was just kinda there and then afterwards she was the chick "responsible" for his scar

Because he needs more love (and oh god, I don't even have a userpic for him; this must be rectified immediately; in the meantime he gets a happy cat)

Rishid Ishtar
A) I had to think about these since I don't really ship him with people. Hmm. Rishid/Mai would, upon thought, be really really interesting. It's what's intriguing me most after muddling over various character combos so let's go with that.
B) Second most interesting right now to me is Rishid/Yami Yuugi. Another man he could probably gain a deep respect for.
C) Well, like my answer for Malik, Ruseshipping. I've seen people pull it off and there's no denying Malik is his world, but...I just draw the line at involving physical attraction.
D) Mokuba is a better brother: when the chips are down, he sasses back. Then again, who's to say that would get through to Malik? Maybe Rishid's approach is the best for Malik's personality. (He coulda. You know. Spoken up sooner, though, but again, who's to say Malik would have listened...)
E) He never fell in love with Kaiba because they were both too busy looking out for their respective siblings. Kaiba, please to be interacting with more ( ... )

A) I need to branch out here the amount of Malik in these answers is absurd Liberashipping. Biased slightly due to stuff that's come up in RP, but also I think Yuugi could be a better role model for Malik than even the Pharaoh could.
B) Kleptoshipping, with a very strong runner-up in Rivalshipping. Actually it's probably a tie, and both are based on manga interactions. Yuugi is so sweet, visiting coma!Kaiba. <3
C) For a very loose definition of anti-ship, Puzzleshipping. I love their interactions, I love their bond and the way they both have to struggle with balancing what's right for each other and how much they care about each other. But so much is done for it in canon I just never feel a need to read fic about it. Maybe I'm wrong, maybe there's lots more to say and I'm missing out ( ... )
