Weekend of wild kittens and repaired computers

Let me open by asking:  Does anyone want a feral kitten?

Didn't figure I'd get any takers but it doesn't hurt to ask right.

So, while I was visiting my parents and sister (had to take my computer to my father to see if he could fix the issue it was having--more on that in a minute) and, of all the crazy things that could happen to my sister, my wife ( Read more... )

Ooh, I'd happily take the kitten if you lived closer! And then my husband would murder me in my sleep.

He could just drop the tiny wild kitten on your head and it would do the work for him!

Kitten attaaaaack! Actually, I'd offer to take the kitten if I lived in the area - my brother has a knack for re-socializing wild kitties. He volunteered at our local animal shelters for a few years, and they were all the better for it. Apparently one of them took his tips to heart.

Aww, poor, little kitty! Two out of my three are a little too crazed as it is, I don't think I could afford to take in a ferel kitten. On the upside, being a kitten, he may tame down quicker then an adult would.
I have a soft spot for black cats myself. Maybe it's because they say a lot of black cats get overlooked because they're not colorful enough.

I'd like to see more of Peculiar. I miss them.

Well you don't need to worry about "wild kitten". My sister took him. And according to my sister, he's calmed down a LOT. So much so that they were able to take him to the vet and bathe him (to get all the fleas off, he was a total flea bag). She called me last night just to tell me she was holding him and he was purring. Now he just needs a name (I have a feeling he'll be named Lowell).

I definitely have to see what Pascal and Albert's baby(s) look like if nothing else.

That's good. :)
He was probably so scared. Maybe he wasn't really wild, maybe someone dumped him there.
I used to feed a feral cat when I worked at the psychiatric center. She was a black cat that had had a run-in with a car at some point because she had a back leg that didn't bend right. I'd toss food out the window for her and once she realized I wasn't trying to hurt her, she would show up regularly to eat. She wouldn't let anybody near her and would take off like a streak if someone got too close.
I always wish I could have taken her home.

That was quite the wild adventure with the kitten. Hopefully your sister can get the kitten to be a bit tamer if she decides to keep it.
I am glad that your computer was not having any major issues. I am sure it will be nice to be able to play again. [=

Your blog looks nice, even so it would be far better if you’ll be able to use lighter colors too as a professional design. This will make sure that a lot more readers come to check it out.Informative post by the way!
