Floating urns -- if it bugs you, try moving it outside and back in. I liked mine floating, but after I moved the urns temporarily they didn't float anymore. :P It seems like I get floaters when sims die in Plat while indoors, though maybe not in all cases.
Lola is really pretty! The POOP sign is hilarious, as was Lola ripping it up. :D
Toddler Mitzi is just delicious! You could put an eye out on those angles! That hair is perfect on her. She looks awesome as a child, too.
Pervy Drake got what he deserved, I love that the Shrink and the Reaper teamed up on her nasty ass. So glad Fifi managed to save Coco though! And that Ricardo visited Fifi. I hope the lesson sank in.
Love the paintings... the Green Girl is my favorite. :D
Darius has the tiniest eyes! I wonder if he'll need glasses, I don't know how he can even see out of them. He looks pretty cool too.
Freedom Lovechild (great name) -- is that the dude I made with the funny nose and chin? Erik or something?
I'll have to try that urn trick. It only annoys me because they don't sit nicely on the tables. Not a huge deal but if I'm going to the trouble to make a "nice" display for them they could as least play along.
Mitzi's good for more than just her looks, too. She's has a fairly decent personality spread, too (a little low on the clean, but still more neat than her siblings!)
I don't now remember the original name of Freedom Lovechild (I'm bad for keeping the creator's names) but I think he was the one you made just for the heck of it. He has a good look (and I had to give him the "Bean dreads").
I have hovering urns in the Gauges, too. I thought it was the hourglass tables, but now I'm not sure. Sometimes they hover, sometimes they don't. The picture behind the urn is solid gold.
Ah, Lola. I like how you write your cats' dialog.
I love Death blocking the stairs when Drake dies.
Great paintings. I love the "custom painting" option, it really makes for some good stuff (and those pulp novels are truly out-there - they never live up to the covers, of course, but the covers are great).
I do hope the household thins out a bit soon, I'm actually kind of glad about the deaths because it reduces the number of people to keep track of. Yeah, I'm like that.
I thought it might be the table I had them on (it's a cc table) but Ricardo's urn is on a regular table (and Thurston doesn't hover and has the same cc table as the hover-ers so. . .).
Death's really been giving me some great material. I guess with how much he's been around he wants to spice it up a bit.
The household did thin out a bit (with Fifi and Coco off to college) but then filled right back up when I rolled one of the next challenges (after the one teased here). But I have three kids either as teens or closing in on teen. They'll be off at college IMMEDIATELY (especially the youngest two, since I have non-heir plans for them).
