Yes, I was right!! It's going to be a girl!! Or at least that's what the doctors say. There's no way I could tell by looking at those ultrasound pictures. But we shall proceed on that assumption, and I'm sure my wife will soon begin accumulating all manner of baby accessories in preparation for the big event

That's wonderful! A sweet baby girl. I can say that baby girls are really sweet and really fun to raise. I think I read somewhere that infant girls pay attention more when their mom and dad talk to them. Little boys are less tuned in to verbal communication when they are really little. I noticed that with my baby girl. If I would say something, she'd turn her head and make eye contact with me right away. It's adorable. You're gonna be so happy with your granddaughter!

I'm very happy to have a granddaughter! I've been surrounded by girls as a father so I'm looking forward to both spoiling and being spoiled!

I'm sure there will be pictures aplenty when the time comes. My wife bought a new camera this week, supposedly for a variety of purposes, but I know her real intentions!! :)

Friends of mine who are expecting were supposed to find out their baby's sex yesterday, but baby wouldn't cooperate, so they'll have to wait until next time...
