Ellen's on the cover of the new Advocate, obviously because of all the Oscars hassle. And really, can this woman be more gorgeous? The first two make me want to lick the screen. Or something.
Definitely five years too late, heh. Apprently they've had problems with copyright of some songs, which is usually the reason certain shows never make it to DVD. But it looks really good for Crossing Jordan right now! <3
Yay! Volver. I adored that movie. Penelope is just so amazing in it. I wish she could find that type of role in English films, but true is there aren't roles like that for women in Hollywood period. It bums me out.
Any don't know if you are up for a recommendation, but I thought since you are on Cruz kick, you might appreciate it. I don't know if you've heard of this movie, but it's a fun, great movie where Penelope performs singing numbers in Spanish and German. Here's a taste. One scene was so funny, I had to watch it like five times in a row and laughed each time. It is one of those movies with a movie type deals, so this scene takes place in the movie they are filming. :)
Penélope is fantastic in Volver, absolutely. ♥ It's sad that Hollywood's only interest is making as much money as possible. And they think this is achieved by giving women same kind of roles in every flick.
Eeee! I've wanted to see La Niña de Tus Ojos for ages! Someone else once recommended it as well, but I never got round renting it. And now you mention it too? Aaah! I need to see it!
By the way, any news on the Aquí spin-off? I will so download that one. <3
