"Holy crap, you gonna cry on me?"

Oy. Rizzoli & Isles, why do you keep torturing me with your ridiculous plots and the insane, femslashy chemistry between the two female leads? Granted, I have to admit that this week's episode, plot-wise, was actually rather enjoyable and well-done (excluding the in-your-face implausibilities). And Rizzoli and Isles? Still married. I mean, sheesh.

You win the snarkathon! Thanks again. What a great excuse for them to wear nothing but skintight clothes through the whole show. The show may not make a lot of sense, but I still applaud the creativity.

Fan service to the max! I also love it how Maura's "scrubs" just happen to fit her perfectly.

The creativity on this show is top notch, do doubt about it!

1) Oh man.... the show/socks had me rolling on the floor laughing... Literally days ago I saw those on a site somewhere (I think it was Yahoo) and all I could think was 'who the hell would ever wear those?' Naturally the answer would be Maura. Ah, I have so much love for this character.

2) Maura breaking into tears? I was sure at first she was just faking it (mind off the gutter, ladies), but when she wasn't, all I wanted to do was to reach out and hug her. The poor thing. She takes a lot of crap from Jane, and handles it with humor or confusion, so this one surprised me. Jane's reaction to Maura crying tho? <3 ( ... )

2. I can't decide whether Maura faking the tears would've been better than Maura crying for real. Then again, now we can be sure there was some H/C going on afterwardsm, given Jane's reaction to the situation. ;)

3. "You want me to lie??" Adorable.

5. *lolling forever and ever* That's so something a Finn would do. Someone collapsing in front of you, you just glance around awkwardly, wondering if fleeing the scene unnoticed would still be possible. Such a weird phenomenon, really.

7. Noooo, really?? I'm shocked. reaches for the nitros*

8. I've been saying to people that this show would make the best drinking game ever! We should totally do it, start with Malibu and switch to ice coffee when we reach our limit. ;)

10. ♥ ♥ ♥

I know this ep is heavy on the case instead of happy fun times at the bar but I love that even in those small scenes, they're still being femslashy. it's amazing. xD

and I really thought she was faking the cry. maybe I'll suspend disbelief and think she did it to tease her gf. lol. maura is shooo cute.

That's the brilliance of this show, actually! Every single scene the two women share together is practically laced with subtext and chemistry. "Heavy on the crime" means we still get more femslash than on a really good day with any other show.

I'm so glad I gave this show a chance. I find it hard to believe how slashy it is at times. And I love that it's a cop show and yet it still manages to be continuously funny.

This episode was probably one of my favourites so far, not least of all because there was no one-episode-love-interests shoved in our faces.

That hugfest at the end was my favourite though. I was all over the place during this ep, my train of thought was literally like:

Amusing. Endearing. Amusing again. SKIN TIGHT OUTFITS. Gay. Suspense. Even more amusing. Gay again. Disbelief. More disbelief. Even more gay. Amused at how unbelievable hacking into a computer by pressing the escape key is. Depressing. MY GAYDAR IS OFF THE CHARTS.

And then it ends on a total happy note. When Jane's parents hugged Maura like that all I could think was "JANE, THEY LOVE YOUR GIRLFRIEND. MARRY HER ALREADY AND MAKE IT OFFICIAL."

Yes! I'm glad you gave it a go. It's *so* not about the crime, for anyone, really. The femslash is through the roof!

there was no one-episode-love-interests shoved in our faces.

THIS. Ignoring the femslashy side of things, it'd be really refreshing to see two women interact with each other without the constant "need" to talk about men and their crappy love lives. There are other things to female friendships, too!

Hee! Your train of thought sums up the episode perfectly. *g*
