Just as we are starting to get our dancing feet under us, D has to leave for a month (Indonesia again). Blast. A long interruption in our lessons and practice time is likely to put us right back at Square One. We can't really afford a month of not dancing together. I'll try again. When I click on this link, it goes right to my "page" of videos. When I experimented with embedding, I just got a weird-looking, nothing square with a green puzzle piece in the middle. I will try again. I am very new to this.
Might try a link to just one of the videos. Would you try again and see if the link to just one of the videos works.

Still can't embed. Following all the directions. I end up with an empty box with a tiny square in the left corner containing a red square, a green circle and a blue triange. This is what I see above, in your reply, under your directions. I followed the directions on LJ and got the same thing. I suspect it might be antispyware on my machine. Very annoying. If the links worked though, I will leave it at that.

We are hoping to take our skills to a local country-western bar with a great dance floor. I think we can translate a lot of what we are learning to CW dancing, which is a blast.

One of his guys would shoot him because his wife has been dying to take lessons, and he has responded with a firm "never". If his wife knew D & I were dancing, well... you get the picture.
It really is great to get him out of the house and moving and, yes, to have something we can do together.

I am still stunned that D decided to actually take this further than the introductory package. HE is having a blast! I've been wanting to do this for years but would not have taken the lessons without him (don't ask me why - I know that's a bit stupid these days).
And, I'm knitting too !!!! Still just in practicing-the-basics mode but I'm getting the hang of it.
