Pampered Chef
Things have been pretty busy with work, fixing up the condo, and life in general. I just started selling Pampered Chef products. WE DID IT!!!!!
Well, we finally closed on the condo. After what seemed like a ridiculously long wait (just over a month - I know, but we've been waiting a long time for this), it is finally ours. We've been pre-approved for a home loan and are actively shopping for our first home!!! Please forgive the excessive use of exclaimation points but we've been waiting for this for a long time. Looking for Houses!
Well, we've started really looking at houses. I need to make an appointment with a lender to see what we pre-qualify for and what we can afford. Last Saturday, we walked through two houses. Here is my scone recipe. I've submitted it to www.allrecipes.com and am just waiting for it to be reviewed before it gets posted there. This recipe took a few tries to get the texture just right but I (and my family) are very happy with the results. We're here!
After 3 very long days of driving with 2 kitties, we finally arrived in Independence, KY, just 20 minutes south of Cincinnati, OH. The drive was long (2400+ miles)and mostly uneventful. We're moving!!!
Just in time for our 4th anniversary, we're picking up and moving across the country to northern Kentucky. I have lived my entire life in the city of San Jose, CA (a large city with a population of over 900,000, not including the surrounding towns).
