What a day. We took Värtti to the vet because she seemed to be sick. It turns out that she has a urinary tract infection for which she got antibiotics. Poor thing. So we had a choir concert last week. It went well and we got some good feedback. I've played at, I dunno... maybe hundreds of concerts possibly, but I've never before taken part in helping to organize it. Last night I sang when I was by myself in the sauna. I've picked the habit of singing in the sauna from our choir camps where we do that. All though, come to think of it we used to sing quite a lot in the sauna at the cottage when we were kids, but I fell out of the habit after I grew up. Lolz, according to Youtube I have a tenor's voice range. xp I know that I can hit pretty low notes for a woman. (tenor is the highest voice range for guys.) At choir practise, when we're warming up, the voice excercises rarely if ever go below my voice range. I sing contralto (altto) in our choir. I saw two movies at the R&A movie festival last weekend: Pure (Swedish drama) and Arrietty, the latest Studio Ghibli movie. I enjoyed both movies and consequently both of them had good music, different but good. I think that kids are going to love Arrietty. My room looks like my hobbies have just exploded inside it. It's still pretty organized, but there's a lot of stuff around. On the right hand side I have my swimming gear (swimsuit, towel etc.) and the soft "carpet" thingie for my stretching class.
