Summer Olympics 2008. Yes, the one in Beijing.No, I'm not talking about the Tibet thing, even though I was-still am- angry at how they're using an event that promotes international unity to put everyone against China. I AGREE WITH THIS POST. It's like they got tired of complaining about Tibet so they latched on to something else to bitch about. FAIL, WORLD.

I know right? If only we can all just hold hands around the campfire and sing songs. Or at least, take the Olympics as what it is, and leave the politics/whatever out of it.

They're not even satisfied with the improvements. Canadian coverage is like, "Beijing is planting flowers everywhere? NO. STOP. WE DISAPPROVE! Show us the real Beijing, don't try to make it better!"

Ugh, I know. They want the improvements, but they don't want to see the 'changed' Beijing. >.> WHAT DO YOU WANT, PEOPLE? Also, think of their economic sacrifice- they're shutting down many of their plants for this event, just to appease these people scruntinizing them under microscopes. I think it's totally unfair.
