...I will say this: my awesome girlfriend ninafarina pointed out that last week, in this very space, I spent nearly a day pretending to be the Defenders.

I replied that I have spend much of my life pretending to be the Defenders, which is not likely to change, ever. In fact, someday, I would like to be paid to pretend to be the Defenders, full-time.

You know what? I think it's time for another round of...ASK THE DEFENDERS!

Also included in that package was Seth's Bannock, Beans and Black Tea, an illustrated version of his father's memoirs about growing up on Prince Edward Island during the Great Depression. It's really very good though terribly sad, and serves as a reminder that, while poverty and deprivation are relative, the generations after WWII have enjoyed ( Read more... )
