It's like when Marcel Duchamps submitted a urinal for an art show - was the urinal art, or was the submission art?

The comedy here works the same way - are jokes about the Defenders funny? Maybe not, but the fact that you two keep busting your asses to make elaborate jokes about the Defenders strikes me as hilarious.

It's all very meta. I think.

At the risk of being accused of further pedantry, I believe the Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe said that his bones were actually tougher than most people's -- or mutant's. I think, of the "reasonably-powered" supers, only Quicksilver (and mmmaybe Beast or [the original] Toad) has bones as tough or tougher than Angel's.

Wolverine doesn't count 'cause he has implants.

Which version was that? I don't have any recollection of that fact.

Not that that's any surprise. I spent more time trying to figure out Elliot S. Maggin's schematic of Ant Man's helmet than reading about Angel.
