I bought a new washer today! I am so excited! yes, I realize that this makes me unbelievably old, but I am super-excited that after two years of having a broken washer in my basement, I am going to have a washer that actually works, and I will be able to do my laundry at home! whenever I want to! it is this one and it is so awesome and it is ( Read more... )

Congratulations on the new purchase, and believe me I understand. After two years of no dryer (drying clothes on racks in the bathroom or in front of the heater), and a washing machine which barely washed (and that only on one cycle, with me having to turn the knob from wash to rinse to spin), I was finally able to purcahse a brand new stackable unit last month. The "newness" has yet to wear off...it still amazes me that I can wash and dry clothes...and towels...and sheets!!! whenever I feel like it.

Civilization is a wonderful thing (at least as far as household appliances are concerned)!

I'm taking Thursday off because I don't know when the delivery people will show up, but I'm really hoping that it's first thing in the morning so I can spend the rest of the day washing things! All of my bedding which is such a pain in the ass to haul out of the house! Curtains! Sheers! Whee!

So, worth the price of admission?

Literally, afaik,it means an infinitesimally small measure of comfort.

I enjoyed it a lot. I really liked, as I said, the Bond/M relationship, and it was nice to have fewer women come in between them. The Camille story was good in a different way - she was almost sisterly to Bond, and that was a nice change, too.

You will love the washer. I have the same one and it is awesome. A tip my service guy gave me is after the load has finished - have it do an additional spin cycle and it will take no time to dry your clothes with less wrinkling. It really does work!

That is a fabulous dryer. Here's to dry clothes all the time!

My dream in life right now is to one day own a red washer and dryer, simply because it's red omg. I think I'm doing this adult thing all wrong.

Ahahaha, the red ones are v.v. sexy, but I refuse to pay $1500 more each for sexy. :)
