I actually managed to sleep 9 hours last night, then I got up and cleaned out a couple of my scarier kitchen cupboards, showered, and went to the dump. then I went into town and killed a couple of hours wandering through Liquidation World, and then I headed to the movies to see "Death Race." ( rev my engine, baby. )

thank you! thank you thank you! i really really wanted to see death race but it looks like one of those movies that can either go HORRIFICALLY WRONG or SUPER DUPER FABULOUS

Well I tend to have my taste entirely in my mouth but I thought it was fantastic. Especially the canon gay!

cool! I was on the fence about Death Race but your review is reassuring that I'd likely enjoy it.

there's a new Vin Diesel movie (Babylon AD) opening soon and I'm contemplating breaking my not-gone-to-the-theatre streak for that

also, I'm soooooo damn stoked about the new F&tF movie - why isn't it opening next week? I want it NOW

I don't know why I have to wait for things that are obviously going to be the best ever. They should have kept quiet about FaF until the minute it was in theatres, so I could go right away and not have to wait!

wait a minute...so Tyrese is gay and not dead at the end, but the bit about him and Jason S. and the island and the daughter - is this projected canon or did this actually happen? Cause I still can't believe that a movie called "Death Race" could POSSIBLY beat the very gay performance of Hair AND bi-curious Laertes!

Dude, at the very end the hot chick who plays Jason's navigator shows up in Mexico and hugs Jason. SIX MONTHS AFTER (it says so on screen!) the last time she saw him. DURING WHICH TIME HE HAS BEEN IN MEXICO WITH TYRESE AND THEIR HIS BABY DAUGHTER. SHALL WE SPECULATE EXACTLY WHOSE LOVE INTEREST JASON STATHAM IS THUS SUPPOSED TO BE?
