She doesn't even bother transforming, not this late. She runs through the house. At the end of everything, where she should be is at Usagi's side. She knocks hurriedly, and flings open the door to her friend's room.]

There's no way it would really crash, that it would really pulverize all of them. There's no way.
... Right? (Maybe - no, probably, or even definitely - deep down she's started to doubt herself a little already, but even so she tries her hardest to not make it show up on the outside.)
So even in this kind of situation, Usagi is sitting on her bed. The journal is open in her lap as she stares out of the window at the moon, her look a little.. blank, actually. But when she hears the door opening, she turns her head to look at Ami. ]

But she will stay by Usagi's side, and be strong for her. She will protect her.]
Usagi-chan. Shall we stay in here this evening? [As if it's any other evening they might spend here; but there's a nervousness in her voice.]

[ She keeps smiling, and maybe because she notices that nervousness she turns to the other girl and pats the empty space on the bed next to where she's sitting with her hand. She, in her own way, probably wants to keep Ami safe and at the very least more or less happy too, even through this. ]

Usagi-chan, are you scared of the moon? [She's proud of how brave Usagi seems to have gotten.]

Both her hands, which she has on her lap, grasp each other tightly for a moment, but she smiles all the same as she speaks. ]

D.. do we really have to talk about what ifs..? Either way, I'm going to be the one to protect Ami-chan, not the other way around! [ Especially since she sees no reason why she should get priority - she doesn't even know about the princess business after all. But even if she knew she probably would have insisted on this. ]

I know, but.. Ami-chan has already done enough for me! Like.. that one time when I almost turned into a youma.. It was Ami-chan who tried to protect me, right? So now it's my turn to do something in return!
