2011 in fic

A ridiculous long reflection about my 2011 writing! Here's last year's reflection.

I told myself last year I would not start new multi-parters this year without finishing my previous WIPs, but apparently I forgot all about that in the face of my LSK obsession, hah...

talk about my fics in chronological order )

kuragehime, the legend of sun knight, tenipuri, oresama teacher, fic, hxh, memes, noblesse, kaichou wa maid-sama, bakuman, yu yu hakusho, hikaru no go, detective conan

I'm really really glad you liked the banner! I need to stick mine on my profile soon because they turned out better than I was anticipating. But then again, they are two pictures of the utmost badassery XDD ( ... )

They turned out lovely. :)

Congrats to your favorite team!

Heh, you make much more sense than I do even when you're still flailing over your favorite teams!

Haha, that's how my inspiration works! Usually I write to explore how characters might react in a certain situation. I very often let ideas fade away before I get around to them though, since I'm still poking away at a previous idea with how slowly I write!

Your dedication is inspiring. If I worked more like how you approach your stories, I think I would have a lot fewer incomplete fics. Something for me to work on. :) I'm going to dedicate January to working on WIPs (and hopefully at least finishing one of them).

I look forward to your fic meme! You have so many fics to choose from! For me, it was a bit silly, since I didn't have that many fics to choose from anyway. XD;;

Goal-oriented writing! Getting to the goal is so hard. :3 I've tried that before too by writing a scene faaar in the future of one fic, but it sure took me a long time before that scene finally got incorporated into the story. Most of my writing seems to happen the other way around, with something that sparks some sort of beginning or reaction, and then everything following that is how characters deal. (Even I don't know how they'd respond sometimes!)

Hahaha, I like that scenario! Poor Kirihara. XD
