Last night somebody threw a couple of Maroons (heavy pieces of firework, bordering to explosives) setting fire to at least one car and heavily firedamaging another (some of the debris had been cleaned up when I came home, so I couldn't tell exactly how widespread the damage had been ( Read more... )

When I work late and am alone at the office, I've started taking the precaution of NOT locking the door when I go to the barthroom. Normally I lock it without even thinking about it, but somehow I can just see the lock jamming on one of my work-late days... and I can quite imagine some nicer place to spend the night than on the company bathroom ( Read more... )
