Well as the subject says this is going to be a picture post from my trip down to LA for AX (aka Anime Expo) 2011. This year marked the 20th anniversary of the convention, although it didn't really seem like they did much extra for it, really the only difference was the anniversary date was printed on everything (badges, guide book, etc). My daughter loves American McGee's Alice. She also played the new game all day the minute she got it. LOL She also got the art book which has some amazing illustrations.

Omg, so much Durarara! LOL My friend voices Kinnosuke Kuzuhara in the English dub but I've never seen the show.

Yay I'm glad to hear someone else even knows what American McGee's Alice is. I haven't picked up the new game but I have the original, also have the Alice & Chesire cat figures they put out for them and the game score (always loved it). I might have to look into an art book.

Lol you should see the Durarara! insanity in day 3 since literally almost all day I did DRRR related stuff >.< I got really hooked to the show and was just about done rewatching it with the English dub when I left for the con. That's cool one of your friends was in it :) If my memory is right, since I know that's not a main character, they voiced the police cop in the 2nd half of the anime. The show is a little odd at the beginning but I do recomment checking it out if you have any inclination. I liked the fact it had a lot of reality with just enough supernatural that I never felt like it was hard to accept the universe.
