As promised, I took some pictures of my room today. I almost have enough old pics to do pic by pic comparisons, but not quite. And I did a retarded little computer drawn sketch of the basic built layout of my room so it'll hopefully make more sense. But yeah :D

It's more "arty" now, before the stuff sort of crowded each other, now you can see and appreciate each piece better.

Hehe you know, the more I look at the old photos I can't believe my room was that cluttered and I just didn't mind. Particularly with how I keep the rest of my stuff XD But I really like it now, I still am fine tuning things but it's just so me.

Your room looks fantastic! I really like your style---arty and gothic, with a good use of color. The red lampshade (*loves*) ties in with the bits of red in various posters and prints, and all of that links in with that lovely darker burgundy-red shade of your blanket/coverlet. Your revamped room is definitely you. Very classy, very lovely. You can come make over my rooms anytime!

Thanks darlin'! *hugs* The red lampshade I found at Walmart actually, it makes the light dimmer when I have the ceiling light off but not in a bad way.

Awww thanks sweetie :) It feels more like me actually. My old room when I looked at it just kind of made me mad cause I feel like I've moved on from all that. Which I have. Least my room now is more...current ;)

I really like the changes you made. The room lucks much bigger and much more structured and the single items get much more room to themselves, whcich makes them more distinct. (Most of them do scare the living daylights out of me, but still... ;-) )
