While the entire "trancendant soul" thing is something that can certainly be identified with, It is doubtful most anything that this article constitutes as "goth" is bona-fide. Granted, such things are somewhat subjective in the sense that everyone has their own definition of what makes them true to the principles of the subculture- Yet, the entire expression of emotional pain on the outside sounds more typical of the "emo" cliche; Different ways of expressing inner turmoil are perhaps evident.. but may need to be inferred ( ... )

i agree with you. this artical doesnt even begin to scratch the surface of the gothic 'culture' as you will. but i felt that this was worth posting simply for the fact that the writer of this is infact a preacher. i felt like this should be something to share becasue i have come across many people who sit (or stand or whatever) there and tell me that certain people cannot be christian because they are goth or what ever petty reason they come up with ( ... )
