My favorite is Serbian for "to crack up laughing" - da puknesh od smeha, which for a Russian sounds like "you fart because you laugh."

It's exacty the form the current Russian "шлейф" took in early 18th century.

Actually, "dolje" means "down", they use it for "down the street", but if you want to say "there", the word for it "tamo" which is very close to Russian там. But "dolje" is actually a Croatian word and is not being used in Montenegro, she probably was saying "dalje" instead - which means "further", дальше.
As for далеко, it is the same in Serbian - "daleko" (only the accent is on "e" instead of "o".
As for the prefixes to the verbs, I found that life is easier once you memorize that prefix iz- (is-) equals prefix вы- in Russian (izaći - выйти, ispuniti - выполнить, isključiti - выключить) and prefix u- equals в-(во-) in Russian (ući - войти, upaliti - включить, uzeti - взять)
Anyways, you will see how easy Serbian will be for you since you already know Russian :)
