The last line is really perfect.

This is very realistic, and totally true to what he could feel in that moment... The fact he's done the same thing Blaine did to him, by friend-zoning Dave, is enough to make him ponder what happened.

I try not to think too much about next week, but whatever happens, I'm glad we'll be able to see what happens to Dave this time. His after-prom absence from the show was incredibly frustrating...
