Oh, wow! There is so much to like in this chapter. So, we find out who rescued the cheeky vampire and it was such a surprise I had to go back and re-read the chapter where Adam first appears. Although Spike is in a very vulnerable and confused state, he still manages to be laugh out loud funny and soo in character - where he's plastering his face with moisturiser and when he's teasing Adam's jiggly b***s - I was in stitches.

But, there's still enough angst and recrimination - I felt Spike's despair when he remembered Angel and the scene where he's wandering aroung the basement flat at Angel Investigationsm, touching Angel's belongings...I almost cracked up.

I don't know what's going to happen next and I can't wait. I've grown fond of Adam and Spike's seeming attachment to the cop. It makes me feel somehow unfaithful to Angel, but I'm sure you'll have more teasing and surprises in store.

It was based on a telephone call I overheard between an ex. flatmate of mine and their partner's Mother. Almost word-for-word.
