I can't get near the NaNoWriMo page -- as they kindly warned in their first encouraging email, the page is too busy and overwhelmed. So I'm posting a word count here. And I'd be lying if I said it was just for me, because I'm bragging that I managed this on a chemo day. Some was typed first thing this morning, after I fed Danger Kitty (the stray ( Read more... )

Ha, and I was feeling proud of myself for having written 300 words today. :D Congratulations, I am terribly impressed as usual.

Well, in the MiniNaNo you'd be an overachiever at 300 words. Any day when we write is a good day. The crazy word count fever for NaNo is fun, but I know most of what I'm spitting out is bad and will need mucho editing. So I think 300 good words is probably more impressive, actually. :)

Impressive, my dear. Quite impressive. My total for the month is ZERO. And I suspect it will stay that way. So I am once again in awe of those of you who manage to pull this off, especially on chemo day. *majorly big hugs*

If I had your job, I'd never write or beta anything! Seriously, I have it made as far as screwing around during November -- and I'm on vacation for a full week of the month, too, while you're probably scrambling to do end-of-term stuff.

Damnit, if you can write on chemo day then I can get my lazy self going! Tomorrow! Yes, tomorrow!

Since you're the most prolific writer on my flist -- only Steven King is faster! -- don't pretend you're lazy, my dear. I'm betting you'll have 50K before I do!

Wow - that's GREAT! I forgot whether you said it's Wrightsville, or something new - or maybe a seeekrit! :) Love and *hugs* and Happy Froday!

Well, it's the Wrightsville universe but it's probably not something that will see the light of day. Who do I know who'd be willing to even beta HET sex?!! But maybe some portion of it that's Ralph/Laurie will make a nice, shorter story. :)
