Five or six years ago there was a tech-concept show with a 3D printer. One layer of powder after another, apparently-- and the end result, which I had for awhile, was a pale green chain with a little round tag on it that said where it was from. I'm amazed when people *whittle* a chain-- but this had a surprise factor I didn't even know what to do with. :)
